Why the Capture one software does not recognize the Canon 20D RAW File (CR2) ? Is there any other option of Canon Bundle Software ? I personally don't like Canon software for RAW, but Capture one is not reading the RAW files !! I am lost! hehe

Phase One introduces supporting software for new DSLR's relatively quickly after they are introduced, but they do not have a working relationship with Canon to where it is available at the same time newcameras hit the marketplace. They are a third-party vendor, so they have to write their programming after they have access to the technology. I currently use Capture One with both my 10D and Digital Rebel and I receive Phase One's updates via email. So far I have not seen the upgrade for the 20D announced, but I've not been looking for iteither so I may have just missed it.:G

I would imagine it will be available shortly.

All it took to find outwas a visit to Phase One's site:

The update to support the 20D is supposed to be released this month.

I don't think Canon has yet released the SDK for the 20D. BreezeBrowser's latest Beta version deals with CR2's, but the Canon software must be installed for it to work, telling me their software calls the Canon program. Be patient and use the Canon software till the third party guys have the tools to catch up.
