Hi,

Anyone have any info on the release of the NEXT Digital Rebel?

Release date? Pricing? Specs? Anything?? :-)

Thanks!

Really? Nice... congrats!

Unfortunately (for me) the 20D is WAY more camera than I need, and more money than I really need to spend on a camera. I was hesitant to get the D70 for the same reasons.

How do you like the 20D so far? Okay, dumb question -- you LOVE it, of course.

So, what are the *major* differences between the 20D and the Digital Rebel that would make someone else wanna move up to the 20D?

By the way, I've heard that the next Digital Rebel will be based on the 20D, but at a lower pricepoint. If that's true, it shouldbe just the ticket for us non-pros (like me!).

Yeah, i hear you about the $$$... took a couple hours to rationalize it to the wife... but dear, if I had a 20D it would...

anyways here's my first impressions (oh, and the basically "instant on" is nice too!)

Bet it'll be black.. and will have upgraded firmware. Probably be cheaper than the current version. Beyond that, my crystal ball is foggy :-).
