Hey. I'm going to buy a lens-hood for my new EOS 300d with the original 18-55 lens. The recommended lens-hood by Canon is the EW-60C, but i would like to buy a little more bigger expensive one (mosly because it looks cooler), but how do i know which one to buy? I'm concerned that if i buy another lens-hood than the one recommended it will cover some of the image when i'm down to low focal lenghts. Is there a way to know?

Why not a 5$ rubber flip-open one, they work as well as any of the others in my opinion.
