Small Drive, Larger Market - http://www.pcworld.com/news/article/0,aid,119091,00.asp

BTW - The 2.2GB PLUS CF-II is compatible with the 300D, butnot the older non-"PLUS" 2.2GB CF-II (which works on the 10D only): http://www.gs-magicstor.com/english/.../product_c.htm

It has to do with the current surge... (ditto with older 170/340 Microdrives)

Some cameraslimit thiscurrent to the CF slot more than othershence 'starving' the drive - It's interoperable with CFalright if one gives it enough intanstaneous 'juice'! :blah:

an issue from drives long gone in a fairly new product.

i might try the new 6gb as it may finally have a reasonable transfer rate in reality.
