Got my XT yesterday but by the time I get home from work and eat it's dark out:sad:. Been reading the manual, playing with buttons and taking some indoor test shots. Decided tonight to see what the diff is between 100 ISO up to 1600 ISO. The attached pics were taken in Program mode and only changing the ISO. The room is just above dark (very dim). The far corner in the pics is about 21 feet away. Other than brightness up to 800 ISO I don't see much to any noise myself. ISO 1600 does induce some noise... Gerry ps: this camera focuses so well and is so fast it's simply amazing compared to P&S and my FZ20.

Well today I was able to get home early enough to get out and take a couple of pics out back. I'm still impressed! Colors and focus are spot on. Decided to stick with full auto mode today just to see the results. Camera fits my "average" size hand well once I get a grip on it. The only problem i'm having as compared to my Fz20 is that my finger keeps searching for the Zoom control:lol:. Attached pic of my neighbors 2000 lb horse!

The UPS man was good to me today as he brought me my Sigma 55-200 lens. Slapped the sucker on the XT and went back outside to see if it works. Nice lens so far. Sharp & Focuses fast. Attached quick pic of female Cardinal at feeder.
