well you won't notice much of difference in a low resolution web picture.. the big difference comes when you use raw.. those extra 2 mp really do offer you an increase in flexibility when it comes to cropping and then enlarging.. (i can offer this by experience, as recently i have had to make some large pictures of cropped images, and i was glad my 20d had those extra 2mp)..

Is not 2.0 MP is just 1.7MP remember the Digital Rebel is 6.3MP and the XT or 20D is 8.00MP so the difference is 1.7MP 375 or 395 pixels difference in the picture. I think
