I have a 1ds mark II and 5 photogenic monolights. Is anyone had any problem with flash don't firering sometime? When my flash doesn't start with the sync cord, I pull it off and reconnect it to make it work again. It's sound like a bug in the firmware but if anyone had this problem, please let me know here.

Thank you

Have you try with shorter cables?

This is usually the outcome of the lower triggering voltage required by newer cameras - The best is to use either an RF or IR triggering devices and get rid of the wires

You can also sync up to one light with the cord and have the rest of them trigger off their built-in photocells
