I have a Canon 75-300mm EF USM and a Canon 18-55mm EF lens. Will someone please tell me what size filters will these two lenses take. Thank you very much. I have a Canon EOS Rebel digital SLR 6.3mp.

Looks like they both take 58mm filters. You can double check at www.usa.canon.com

Another quick way to find the correct filter size is to go to a site such as B&H Photo ( www.bhphotovideo.com) and find the lens you are interested in. Under the Accessories tab at B&Hit lists the compatible filters. For example:

For the 75-300

http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/cont...854&is=USA

For the 18-55

http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/cont...554&is=USA

Or you could take the lens caps off and it is printed on the front of the lens .......

Or you could take a tape measure and measure it

:blah:

Seriously, I think they are both 58mm but any of the above suggestions are the way to go. I just wanted to be a smary pants.
