I have Canon SLR Rebel firmware version 1.1.1. Is there a update for SLR? And someone please tell what does the firmware suppose to do? Thanks,:lol:

The latest firmware will be at:-

And it's the same as you've got, but I'd bookmark it and view it once a month at least for updates.

Firmware is the cameras operating system. by updating it occasionally allows the manufacturer to either fix issues that have come up after you have, improve its operation, or even add features.

Why wouldn't it be? thats why theyput it out there. if you follow the instructions it takes about 5-8 minutes.

if you have below v1.1.1 i would do so.
