If it's the super II it will work fine but may require "rechipping"

free of charge from sigma if you have proof of purchase, around £30.00 UK pounds if not.

if it is the old lens then they cannot rechip. you can use it on manual or AV mode and manually focus (insulate the contacts as it will give you a Err99 if you do not)

Honest... Listen to NHL. He advised me and it is a very good lens for the money. It can not be beat. Check this link too see a Macro shot. Silver Dollar blossom
Yeah it's mine and it's not perfect but it really nice for a guy with a new camera and three days practice. You can get better but you'll pay a lot more. Also seeInde the border collie That is from the first day with the lens and camera.

Thanks again to NHL.

Good luck with your new 350D

I got this from amazon a couple days ago:
Sigma 70-300mm F4-5.6 APO Macro Super Lens for Canon AF Cameras [Camera]

I didn't see a super II for the Canon's did I get the wrong lens

I read the reviews for it and saw
"I bought this lens as a long range zoom for my Canon Digital Rebel. It is an excellent value for the money and gives you incredible range! It comes with a lens hood and also a very nice padded case too."

... did i miss something ?

Also saw these for this lens..

ordered this for my Canon Digital Rebel, and happy to say the lens works great together with the camera. Performance and quality are very good, and the price certainly is right.

The image quality that this lens delivers is amazing. Whether I use it on my Rebel, 630 or Dogital Rebel.
