Just getting to grips with my 20D which I love. I am going to buy an Apple Powerbook to archive and edit all my images. I'd like to be able to take it around with me some of the time, and have performance enough to edit hi-res and RAW images.
So, is the 12" Powerbook G4 enough, or should I go for a higher spec 15" one?

Thoughts and advice welcome!

I have the 15" at 1.25Ghz. Great machine and works fine for PS with RAW images.

The current 15" and 12" models are both more powerful than mine, so will not be an issue for you.

The advantage of the 15" is the wide screen - it is simple to open several windows / Docs at once and refer to them together. The 15" also is more readily a desktop replacement simply because of the screen size. It has a some higher specifications than the 12".

The 12" is more portable, without a doubt. Back at your desk it is a matter of seconds to hook it up to a nice external monitor for the best of both worlds.
