I bought a new canon 1Ds mark II, when i put the CF card into the CF slot and turned on the camera, it showed : "the memory card not be formatted" and i tried to re-formatted the CF card but the camera cannot format the CF card.

I changed other CF cards, but still the same result.

Anybody can help me to solve this problem.

thanks.

Do you have an external card reader? if so plug in the card and try to browse it. Just to check if it is OK.

Where are you? every georaphy has its own Canon Support Center, with associated contact info.

For Canon US http://consumer.usa.canon.com/ir/con...ontactCanonAct
and click the Email Contact link.
