That´s the whole question is it noticiable the difference using a 80x CF picture card than using a 50x Picture card?

Thanks for your time

Well, unlike this model's predecessor (Digital Rebel/EOS-300D), the new 350XT has a much faster interface to media.

Stevehas some comparisons in the Conclusion Section of this model's review here (comparing a newer 80xcard with an older 12x card):

CompactFlash media is relatively inexpensive now.

In some cases, you may end up having to pay more money for a slower card compared to a faster card (just because the faster cards are newer, with decreasing manufacturing costs astechnology advances).

I'd personally go for the fast card (Sandisk Ultra II,Extreme III,orLexar 80x).

You may not see a difference between a slow card and fast card in many conditions (since the camera is buffering the images internally as they're being written to media).

But, if you arein a situation where you'll be taking a lot of photos in a row (continuous mode, etc.), then the faster card will help flush the buffer faster (so you don't get slower cycle timesif the buffer fills up).

Yea --- many users that don't need the extra speed are probably getting spoiledwith the capabilities of newer models. But, from my perspective, I wouldn't purchase a card that would be bottleneck in it, because you never know when you may need the extra speed if you are taking a lot of photos in a row (and the cost difference is minimal now).
