Hi,

In my Canon EOS 350D I have in automatical mode (green square)ALWAYS ISO 400 . Is it normal ??????? Please help! Maybe someone has the same problem? Maybe I should give this camera to servis?

The canon user manual (I know, no one ever reads those anyways) states on the first page of chapter 2 (fully automatic shooting): "In each mode, (green square, portrait etc.) ... the ISO speed ... are set automatically to suit the subject.

In short, it is normal that you cannot change the ISO in these modes. If you want ISO control, use P or any other of the "creative modes" instead. No need for service :-)

Right, it will adjust the ISO speed to 100,200, or 400. Try shooting outside in bright sun and see if it still uses 400. If it's bright enough, it should lower it to 100 or 200.

Made some outdoor shots during the week-end, and for once the NL were sunny !!

The camera used mostly ISO 100withtheautomatic mode.
