To start, I am sorry if this is the wrong area to post this. I have the 20D and a Tamron AF 28-300mm f/3.5-6.3 XR Di LD IF Lens. I am trying to build up my night picture taking skills by shooting the moon. So far I cannot seem to get anything but a white circle or one that is way too dark. I know my lens is probably not the best choice, but if anyone could share exactly what settings they think I should try I would be very grateful!

Thank You
Levi
