I've had the D20 about 3 months - It's been working well, but I'm having some occasional stickiness of the auto open of the flash unit. Sometimes when the flash is required, it will attempt to cycle it open 3 times and then goes into err mode. I've also seen the same behavior when I press the button to manual open it. Not all the time though. I've thought about using a little dry lube with a qtip to lubricate it. Flash seems to have plenty of strength in the the spring that opens it.

Any other suggestions ?

I would definitely not try to fix it myself. Your camera is still under warrantee, so take it to your local Canon service depot :-).
