If its between the Sigma 18-135 or the Canon 17-85 IS - which will be better pros and cons? I would like to have one all around lense.

Thanks,

The new 24-105 f4L is a nice addition to the Canon lineup. Has anyone seen the msrp for the US yet?

The 24-105 with IS is nice, but f/4 means no high precision AF on some bodies
IMO this range is much more useful than the 28-135 plus it's an L!

It looks like there's a new 430EX flash as well...

Looks like the Australian site blocked access to the page for the 24-105:lol:

They blocked it... but there's plenty of clues from various sites

There seem to be too many smokes without fire... (at least two new non-APS bodies) :-) :G

That new lens does sound interesting. At first, I thought they were making it f/4 so they could lower the price and sell another product like the 17-40 f/4 or the 70-200 f/4 (To complete their "low end L" wide-general-tele equipment). But then I realized the IS so now it's probably going to cost just as much as any other L.

I wonder if the 430ex is going to be more comparable to the sigma 500dg? New products are so interesting:!:

... Bear in mind that Nikon had a 24-120 AF-s VR for quite sometime already - They are only filling a void in their line
