I want to buy something inexpensive for close up shots. Do I need just a close up lens and step-up ring? I searched and found a 62mm T6 but no info on how close you can get with it. Any suggestions?

Here's a link to close ups and extension tubes. I don't quite remember everything since I'm not a macro fan, but I DO remember it has some useful stuff, such as magnification factors.

Do a research for Nikon 6T (62mm) on the web.

It's a 2,9+ and works great with 300-400mm zooms
