Anyone no were I can purchase spare eyecovers for the 10D & 350/Rebel in the UK

do you mean the rubber bit covering the viewfinder or the rubber bit attached to the neck strap?

The piece that comes attached to the strap to stop stray light entering the viewfinder.

im afraind i cannot find it as an accessory so i guess its part of the strap,new strap im afraid.

Why not call Canon support, as their site suggests if you cannot find the part you require? On the Canon USA site the number is 1-800-828-4040 . Buying an entire strap just to get an eyepiece cover is unreasonable. You neve know, a Canon service center may have a bin of them and will be willing to part with one for free.
