Just picked up the new Rebel XT today. The one thing I can't seem to do or know how to do is the continuous shoot mode or the burst mode. How do you do that?

Hope you are enjoying your new camera.

On the back of the camera (top right side of the LCD screen) there is a Drive mode selection button (not the av button). If you push it you can change it from single to continuous shooting. If you read the manual you will understand everything.

good luck.

The picture posted will show you the continuous shooting button. It takes time to learn how to operate these machines. Keep the manual close by you and read as much as you can. I have owned one for the last six month and in spite of my diligence in reading, I still have a lot to learn.

kind regards
