it is geared more for Low Light...very low light..but the regular 20D has is good at that.

Here are some photos I have taken with the regular 20D on a tripod, using a 300 f/4 L IS lens.

Here is another one. Keep inmind that this was not on a tracking telescope that is why the stars are blurred.
