DXO optics.

But if you have it set up correctly there is no reason why the CS1 plug-in would not work. You haveundoubtedly mis-configured it.

There is a download for Adobe Camera RAW that adds support for several cameras.
Go to Adobe's web page, go to Support then Downloads. Unfortunately Adobe requires you to sign up to download things. I hate that.

But check to see if that new RAW converter supports that camera. I think it should, but I could be wrong... I don't own that camera I have the 20D.

Most programs just directly use the Canon RAW converter. So while the different packages have their own interfaces to do the conversion, the actual conversion process is the same and the results will be the same.

Perosnally I use Capture One LE with ETC profiles for my 10D and very happy with it. tried Raw Shooters Essential last week and it is a nice program (and free). Got results very similar to what I get with C1LE.

Other options are Breeze Browser and PS.

Try RAWSHOOTER essentials.

It's a free download.

It works great, at least until you get a better idea of what you need.

If you ever want to upgrade to the pro version, it's $59.

I use RawShooter Premium and love it. Very powerful, very fast, and the results are excellent.

I recommend you try RawShooter Essentials and try it on for size.
