Hi,

I want to take some long exposures of the night sky on my Canon 350D. I seem to remember reading somewhere that the maximum time you can use the bulb setting for is 999 seconds.

I have a shutter remote button with a shutter lock - can I lock the shutter open for longer than that or am I indeed limited to 15 minute exposures?

Many thanks!

Nevermind, I answered my own question. Re-reading the manual - the LCD screen displays time the shutter has been open from 1-999 seconds but the shutter stays open as long as the button is pressed down.
