Canon EOS Viewer program will treat your 20D as an external device.

You can then click on it and navigate down to your RAW files, then drag them to another folder (which you should make beforehand).

I just installed that recently. I love it. I don't actually use it to open RAW files, but it's great to have thumbnails of RAW photos visible in Windows explorer. Makes it much easier to find a specific photo. Previously, I would have to create batches of small jpg files (using IrfanView, which just reads the jpg file embedded in the RAW file) to keep alongside the RAW files so that Windows could create thumbnails.
