Just joined, and am upgrading from a D300 to the D20. I read a lot of the posts about the D20 here, especially the low noise and low light posts, and convinced myself to get one. I've still got my film SLR and it was totally manual - including the lenses. So I'm used to existing light. I know I'll have many questions after I get the D20.
Thanks for all the information posted, and allowing reading of the forum before joining. I've seen some where all the regulars just post pictures and pat each other on the backs, so it's better to look first.
I've also got a Nikon Coolpix 995 which I take on bike trips as I can't pack the SLR (Side bags are too small)
Thanks,
Weezy

Afraid I have all the lenses I want - have a D300 and they should all work. The one I want isn't available. I had a Soligor 135 manual on my old Pentax. Wore it out! Soligor is no longer doing lenses.
