Right now I'm debating where to buy an XT. I think Broadway Photo has the best prices right now, but I was wondering if anyone has had good/bad experience with any of these online camera stores. Or are there any non-advertised stores where the XT might be a better deal? Money's causing a problem. Thanks.

I've bought from B&H Photo for the last 20 years including a new XT last week. Never had a problem.

In the last few years I have bought pretty much all my camera equipment from http://www.amazon.com. They have good prices, free shipping, no tax in most states, and if you want to bother with the A9 search engine you get another 1.57% off. Also they have a pretty much no questions asked free shipping return policy. Right now the silver Rebel XT with the kit lens is $783.69 with free shipping. Seeing that Broadway Photo wants at least $30 for shipping, you might as well go with someone more reputable like Amazon and just pay a few more bucks.B&H has the Rebel XT for $779 plus $13.50 shipping, slightly more than amazon with shipping.

I have bought from Ritzcamera.com, Wolfcamera.com, Beachcamera.com, and B&H...
No pressure sales after the sale from any of these...Delivered on time, each time...
btw, Ritz and Wolf are the same company...
Go to dealtime.com or bizrate.com and compare shop....

BuyDig.com has better prices than Broadway Photo. They offer the Rebel XT w/ kit lens for $756.00 with free shipping and no tax except in NY.

As far as Amazon.com and no tax...are you sure? All times I've bought from Amazon.com I recall there being tax (live in WA).

I checked on the Amazon website, tax only in three states: KS, ND, WA. That's a bummer you're in one of them...

Ah - it's becaused they're based out of Seattle, WA. That annoys me - I buy from Amazon.com quite frequently.
