Hey, guys.

Today, the shutter curtain of my Eos 1D mark II is broken. So I have to repair it. I live in Illinois. I guess I have to sent thecamera to Canon service center in NJ. Anyone have any idea how much do I have to pay to repair it including shipping cost?

Any experience and avice would be good for me.

I don't know, but when I've send gear to NJ, I have fedex pack it at one of their stations (so they are responsible if something goes wrong) and then send it with them. In the past is hasn't cost a huge amount.

You don't pay for shipping back to you. At least I didn't.

If you call them, you can probably get an "estimate" on the price, as they work on a tiered system of repair pricing.
