Can I use this Sigma EF 500 DG ST Flash (Canon Mount) on my EOS 350D. I want an external flash to be used as a main flash unit. Will this do the job...?

Thanks again in advance.

You can, but what you want is this Super version.

The ST will work but does not have the wireless capability (if that's important to you) and the faster flash modes like the high-speed (FP) sync, modeling light or rapid burst modes as well as the 2nd curtain sync...

Thanks for that NHL. I've opted for the ST for now as I've bought a battery grip also and the wife wouldn't be happy at me spending any more green just yet...

Anyway, I've got her saving up to buy me the Canon 70-200 L lens....so I can't be too greedy...:

Thanks again.

Agree with NHL - the 500 - SUPER is the one to get. Love the built in diffuser!
