It is possible to modify the Canon EOS Digital SLR (as well as most other DSLRs) to greatly enhance sensitivity to astronomical objects:

Is true?Did someone do like this?:?

ChristinaSuer, Yes this is true (DSLR's can be modified for astro-photography). This question has been asked here before, but I see you are new to the forum. Welcome!

But once a camera is modified it is not practical for normal use photography (e.g. normal daylight photography) anymore. (This is my understanding from what I have read anyway).

If you do a google search for this topic, I am sure you will see there is more information out there.

Paul
