Hi

I tried playing with the macro option and evertime i try the in camera flash switches on

Is this the way the camera works in macro mode. I tried even in day light where there is enuff light. But still the flash fired and over exposed.

Can somebody tell me why exactly macro is defaulted to using flash in the camera.

ISO - Auto
WB - Auto
AF - One shot
AF point - Auto
Exposure - Evaluative
Drive - Single
Built-in Flash - Auto

-> i.e. if you have enough light the flash will not come on...
The problem is auto ISO - Try to point to a very bright light source for example, the flash will not flip up... Guarantee! :-)
