Just letting all fellow Canon users know, I've just downloaded and tested Adobe Lightroom for Windows and it looks really good.

Its very slow at the moment, but it still is in beta and has to be optimised for the PC, but in terms of controls and flexibility, I haven't found a raw convertor as advanced. I'm a previous user of RSP and Lightroom is looking good to become my new raw convertor once it is ready.

Give it a try, its free.

I tried it and promptly uninstalled it. The speed of it is what primarily turned me off. I'll probably give it a go again once its performance is improved.

It is painfully slow, but once it is running as quick as it is supposed to, it should be a really good program.

I thought Lightroom is supposed to use Raw Shooter Premium technology...which is very fast. I'm guessing they haven't ironed out their stuff.

While I haven't looked at the program I can say that light room has been around since before Adobe purchased Raw Shooter... so while it might one day move to that heck, I bet we have a bit more time to wait they fully integerate it in.
