Quick and easy newbie question:

How do you change the shutter speed in AV mode? I figured out how to change the aperture, with the dial, and the ISO, in the menu, but if it's possible, how do you change the shutter speed?

Well you can change it by using Exposure Compensation. But the concept of Av mode is that you want the camera to control shutter speed to match the ISO and aperture you selected. Just like the concept of shutter priority is that the user selects ISO and shutter and the camera selects aperture.

If you really want to control both aperture and shutter, just use manual mode.
