Canon has announced it's first compact Mirrorless Interchangeable Lens Camera System, called the EOS M.
This camera system uses an APS-C size imaging sensor to provide dSLR quality images and video in a compact camera system. The Canon EOS M will use a new EF-M lens mount, and Canon announced that two lenses will be available initially, including the EF-M 22mm pancake style f/2 STM lens, and the EF-M 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM lens. Agreed. They keep saying it's release is October...but those days are numbered. I'm interested to see the critiquing once it's in a few user's hands though.
