It don't eat up my time, - I am NOT LOOKING SILLY/SILLY TV, so I have enough time!

I just ordered one with the 22mm f/2 kit lens. You won't be alone on this forum.

I ordered one too - can't beat $299 w/lens. Not sure though..it's on backorder for now and I'm starting to have buyer's remorse already. I just wish I knew if the next iteration of this body would have a viewfinder!!!

At $299 for this camera, it is dirt cheap with a lens coming with it. Hopefully the new firmware will really improve the auto focus speed. Most mirrorless interchangeable lens cameras are no speed demon, I guess I have to accept the fact that this is something I have to give up for owning one. The missing electronic viewfinder can make it difficult when shooting in strong sunlight because of glare. I have 2 m4/3 cameras which work pretty good for still shots but still I am not happy with picture quality because I don't have any quality lenses, With an adapter which I have already ordered today, I can use my EF lenses on the EOS-M. This is main reason I bought this camera.

Amazon just updated me with a delivery date of Tuesday - fun! I've seen the Youtube video of the AF improvement after the firmware update so I'm cool with that. Hopefully my wife will use this one more - I've seen her eye for composition and she's great...but she just isn't a fan of the larger DSLR size.

Between this and my 6D I should be good for most situations...I may even get the adapter to try playing around with my EF lenses.

You may get your camera before me. Amazon is faster with their free shipping than B&H who ships by Fedex Home. Guys with full frame DSLR don't really need this camera, but it is so cheap and thus making it irresistible for us to to get one. Most women have good eyes for composition of pictures, I think your wife will enjoy this camera a great deal. Don't forget to update the firmware before you hand it to her.

Got it last Tuesday from Amazon - came with the new firmware update already installed. I got a chance to play with it this weekend...not overwhelmed but not underwhelmed. Using the touchscreen all the time takes some getting used to but the image quality is quite impressive. I'll put up some pictures once I get a chance to download them.
