Hi all, I'd like to get closer for wildlife and I'm wondering if I can use the 2x converter with my 70-300 is usm lens, on a 20d Thanks ahead Pat

You can double check the Canon siteto be sure but I read that the converters only work the the "L" series lenses.

You must use 3rd party tcon, for example Kenko PRO 300, but remmember that tcon not doubles only the range, but an aperture also, which can be little difficult for AF system of camera to work proper, viewfinder gets darker, shutter speed gets longer, etc etc...
