Well, I'm now officially the owner of a spanking new Canon EF 70~300mm f/4.5-5.6 DO IS lens :-) I went to the store yesterday to look at it, and I ended up getting it. It looks very solid, but I haven't had a chance to test it properly yet. Just took a couple of shots, and tested IS function briefly at 300mm. That was a cool experience. At 300m handheld it was shaky, but when i pushed the button halfway down it became rock solid after about 0.5 secs. Impressive :-)
I can't wait to test it more :G
