:?I would like to know if the image stabalizer worthless when shooting sports, moving wildlife, or if any moving objects. I right or wrong, please explain.... Or with any lens with image stabalizer..

Image stabalized lenses only help stabalize camera shake.They do nothing to help freeze action. They do help in low light hand held situations

The IS does wonder for camera shake in low-light @ 1/20s (i.e. slow shutter speed) for fixed target like doors/wall/sidewalk (i.e. landscapes) etc... But it can not compensate for the subject movement of the man walking by (i.e. action)

-> If you have to use a higher shutter speed anyway to stop the motion then the camera shake is no longer an issue because the higher shutter speed also "freezes" any camera shake - and why IS is "worthless"(i.e. no longer required) in action shots...
