Looks interesting and good. Just the start and hoping to see more lens. Good that they started of with the 18-55IS lens |

Thanks for pointing that out. I'll definitely be keeping my eye on this. There is a disturbing lack of quality lens reviews out there, which is odd as lenses seem to stick around longer than camera bodies.
(I hope they review the Canon 17-55 2.8 soon as I am really curious how it compares to the IS kit lens.) |

17-55 IShttp://www.photozone.de/Reviews/Cano...review?start=1
18-55 IShttp://www.photozone.de/Reviews/Cano...review?start=1 Quite similiar IQ, but aperture, USM and IS on the 17-55s side. What to say, new kit is greater bang for buck, if, i mean IF you do not need f2.8. Will compare them side by side very soon, but my friend, who owns 18-55 IS (i personally have 17-55) says that it's IS is not as near effective as on the more expensive Canon lenses. Can't tell myself, haven't seen it, but will share it as soon as it turnes appropriate for both of us to do a little test. |
