thanks. i like you utah impressions series.
as to the sharp cut. its not going to affect you image any different as would B+W or Hoya. note that they refer to it as a L-39 sharp cut. now go to the link below and look at the graph and watch the cutoff at between 370-390nm hence a L-39 for light reflection. ahh! the wonders of nomenclature http://www.thkphoto.com/products/hoya/coatings.html also for filters go to: www.2filter.com if you decide on hoya put the filter in your basket you might see a better price then even adverted there on the site price. unfortunately it doesn't quite work as well with the B+W ones though(ok, not at all). |

sjms, I am with Eric!
Thus sharp-cut is good then. Any experience with the Canon UV haze sharp cut filters? Should I keep them or go with a Hoya / BW? Barthold |

if you have the canon ones they're just fine. no reason to change. that would be just tossing money away. instead just send it to me.

I'm looking for a lens cap that will fit on my 77mm slim polarizer (without front thread). I believe NHL called it a 'tupperware' lens cap :-) Do any of you know what they are called and / or where to get one?
Thanks, Barthold |
