New 28-135, nice lens but they didn't have a 72mm Promaster lens hood which I favor.
Dealer gave me a deal on the Canon Tulip hood made for the lens- thats fine. Which way do the "long ears" go - on the sides (left and right) or top and bottom. My instinct tells me, I get more shading with them on top and bottom. Can someone who knows for sure - set me straight ?? |

My Canon "long ears" go on top/bottom!
-> ie it does not fit in any other way... (did you rotate it with a click?), except reversed for storage ![]() |
