I have access to2 older 35MM lenses from a Canon AE-1.
The owner thinks they are about 20 years old. Any idea if these will fit on my Canon SX DSLR?.. or do I need to see what make/model number they are??? |

If I am not mistaken, the AE-1 uses a FD mount. The XS uses an EF or EF-S mount. You would need to use an adapter.
I can't offer any further opinions on whether it's worth the trouble, having never done it myself. |

Thanks....
FD Mount???? what's that? Is that what the adaptor will help with? and...lastly, adaptor pricing? would it be worth it, getting 2 lens real cheap. Quality of pics using the older AE1 lens? |
