Can the Sigma Telephoto 500mm f/4.5 EX DG APO HSM Autofocus Lens for Canon EOSbe used with theCanon EF 1.4x II Extender?

It will work with the Sigma brand TC, although manual focus only. I can't say for sure about the Canon TC

I know the sigma 100-300 can work with the Canon TC as photozone said:

The AF 100-300mm f/4 EX is compatible to both Sigma AF EX converters as well as the Canon EF 1.4x II (not sure about the 2x).

I would like to know the same about the Sigma 500 f 4.5.
