Ever thought about why a cropped camera cuts down your angle of view. Even tho the makers give an AOV for all lens this does not apply, take for instance a Canon 50mm lens. This has an AOV of 46mm.for full frame came cameras this is OK (Canon 5D) with its 36*24 (aprox) se sensornsor but a 10D camera with its 22.7 * 15.1 makes it seem the lens AOV is 30.5 degrees. This is a print out of a table to show how the A OV changes. it is written for Microsoft EXCEL or WORKS
