mediocre at best. i used to have a CPC lens for my old Pentax ME Super... it worked okay, but it wasn't particularly sharp, nor durable, and modern, high-quality lenses blow it into the weeds. a couple of things to bear in mind when shopping for optics...

style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"1. you get what you pay for. top quality optics ain't cheap.

2. the best camera is only as good as the lens you put on it. remember, the camera is only a device that records what it "sees", and the lens is its "eyes". if the eyes aren't sharp and clear, neither will the recordedimage be. better to scrimp on the body - get used one if need be - and get the best glass you can afford. you'll get better results.
