Hi Guys
I am getting an offer for an used 120-300 EX APO version for a good price. I just wanted to know how different these two versions are. I am getting for around 1450 and wawnted to know if its worth buying the earlier version or get the DG version

The only thing the DG version buys you is some extra lens coatings designed to cut down on flare. IMO, not worth paying any extra for.

$1450 is a great price - so make sure there's nothing wrong with the lens.

Actually all tests/reviews so far were performed on the former non-DG version...
-> I'd like to know how the new revised DG do :G
