I found a Blower teleconverter for Canon. Will it work with my Sigma 24-70 2.8 and my 20D?

Is the teleconverter any good or is it a waste of time. I plan on buying a 70-200 2.8 soon.

You opinion requested.

Well Sigma dosn't recommend using their own teleconverter with their 24-70mm lens. Can't say if the one you found will work or not, but Sigma claims using thier TC could damage the Teleconverter and the lens. Don't think I would try it. As far as the future 70-200, I would recommend getting Sigmas TC's for it. I have both the 1.4x and the 2x Sigma teleconverters that I use with my 70-200 f2.8 and there is very little if any image quality difference, plus the autofocus works as normal too. Couldn't say for sure if the TC you found would support Sigma's autofocus.

What about a Quatary 2x Teleconverter?

Would it be ok?

My opinion, not much better than the other one you mentioned. I would still recommend the Sigma to match your Sigma 70-200.
