Would you please explain to me what MP-E stands for the Canon 65mm MP-E Macro lens.

Also how much it would cost?

This is not an EF series, i.e. not autofocus (AF is useless in macro):
It's like the TS-E series manual lens only but a macro "zoom" instead designed for EF-mount camera - The MP-E 65 magnification can vary from 1 to 5 (x life size)
