I just bought a 50mm 1.8 lens. I was wondering if it would be a good idea to put a wide angle lens ontop of that to get a little more width. Or would the attachment work better w/ the lens kit. Any one use an attachement before? are they any good? any better solutions? I'm still planning to get the sigma 70-300 soon, but that's for zoom.

Isn't the 'kit' lens a wide angle already? Why would you want to spend on an attachment to make the 50mm behave like the 'kit' lens with less performance?
