Just wnated to if a converter like 1.4x or 2x can be used with the 500 FD L lens

i have a chance to get that lens for a very goood price

I wouldn't bother... You'll still need an FD to EOS converter

-> Canon did make these special 1.4x FD/EOS converters, to not obsolete theses early L lenses when they switched mount, but theses are a very rare find

there are few non canon adaptors that are available too. i can get this lens for almost 1k and its atleast 4.5k less than the Digital version

was wondering if i can also use the 1.4x converter with the FD-EOS converter and the lens.
