Nope, unlike Nikon that has Fuji and Kodak using their lenses there is nothing now that uses Canon glass. I think there have been adaptors that can allow lenses to be mounted on other bodies but even if you did find one then I would not suggest trying it.

Isn't the electronic interchange in the Sigma similar to the Canon?
I've read somewhere that you can swap the rear coupling and mount Canon lenses on Sigma dSLRs...

My Nephew uses a sigma on his Canon 20 D. Canon Ef lenses are not compatable with full frame Canon slr's like the 5 D. Keep that in mind 20D users if you are planning on purchasing a 5D in the future.

Hi Denise,

Kelly was asking whether Canon lenses can be used on other brands of camera, not whether 3rd party brands work on Canons.

Oh - and EF lenses are compatible with the 5D - it's EF-S lenses where the problems start.
